God Loves You Every Day: Free printable posters at

If you’ve visited the blog in the last 24 or so hours,  you’ve noticed that you can get some these free printable 8×10 posters. Each one of them contains a quote from my new book.

I’m excited about giving them to you because this announcement means that I’m finally at the end of a long … long … long  journey to publish my book, God Loves You Every Day.

To get the printable posters, click on the image at the top of the home page. When you do, you’ll sign up for the regular email list and they’ll be on the way.

Note: If you have been on my email list for some time, you should have received an email today that told you how to download the posters. Look for it. If you are missing the email, send me a request through the Contact form and I’ll figure something out to help you.

IMPORTANT: To get the download information, you must be on the regular email list, rather than the Feedblitz blog update list.

The Feedblitz blog update email list sends you an  email each time I publish a new blog post. (It’s basically a replacement for a RSS feed reader.)

The regular email list sends you weekly blog updates and other unique content that you can’t find in the blog. This is the list I use to send out newsletters and such.

In the future, you’ll need to be on the regular email list in order to get new free downloads, as they won’t be available to casual blog visitors.

It’s cool to be on both email lists because they have very different functions.

The God Loves You Every Day Book Is Here!

Oh boy… I’ve just finished a marathon! I should win a prize or something.

Anybody have any downloadable Oreos? I’m up for some.

But it was so worth it! I can’t tell you how exciting it was to finally see both the Kindle and the paperback versions in the Amazon store. While I’ve released Kindle books before, this was my first go-round of setting up a paperback book. It was a steep learning curve, but now I feel confident enough about it that I’ve decided to hustle and get my Christmas books out in paperback, too.

(More about that another day.)

When you order the book, you will also receive this printable companion workbook.

Who won the contest?

Karlene Pothier! She was so excited to hear it because she’d never won a contest in her entire life before.

Such fun!

Book Covers

As you can tell, the blue book cover won the contest. It wasn’t even close. I think 99.9% of you voted for it. I was happy about that because the blue cover was my favorite, too. I did end up replacing the pink strip along the bottom edge with a blue one. I like how this change makes the eyes focus on the pink heart and the book title.

This is what the paperback book cover looks like.

About the Reader Stories.

Many of you will remember that last spring, I put out a call for stories that demonstrated God’s love in ordinary people’s lives. I am honored that so many of you responded to my request.

You can’t imagine how grateful I am to the wonderful women who were brave enough to share their intimate experiences with us. I can’t wait for you to read their stories!

These are the stories that made it into the book:

My Niece’s Faith in God by Lorraine Haby
God Answered My Prayer by Patricia Houser
My Story of God’s Healing Power by DiAnn Tenorio
God Saved My Life by Wendy Leonard
Two Precious Experiences: God Showed Me That He Loves Me by Cindy Filley
God Saved Me on a Busy Highway by Colleen Deimler
The Answer to My Daughter’s Prayer by Mary Braund
God Provided for Me by Marcia L. Parmeley
All Things Work Together by Kathy Green
God Knows Who We Are and Sends Help When We Least Expect It by Kristina Robb Calkins
We Had Another Child by Ruth Hall

About the Beta Readers and My Editor

A few weeks ago, I put out a call for beta readers. Again, many of you responded to my call. It was so touching that I have teared up more than once about it.

Together, the Beta Readers and My Editor, Cindy, Created a Miracle.

The book is so much better because of their advice. Each reader found errors that no one else saw. Many of them gave suggestions for improving the book that made it much stronger. The readers asked questions, made comments, and pointed out areas of the book they were confused about and rewriting those sections improved it dramatically.

Give a round of cheers to the following women!

Diane Hartmire
Barbara Romano
Terry Ayers
Margaret Kieser
Tracy Lee
Julie Hartmus
Jenny Mespel
PJ Waldrop
Marna Kielich
Eileen Bergen

I just have to put in a plug for my amazing editor, Cindy Dake. She gets me. She’s never hesitant about telling me that there is probably a better way to put something. Because this particular book covers a sacred topic, Cindy took her job seriously enough to pray about a few of her suggestions before she gave them to me.

Cindy never fails to tell me if I haven’t been clear enough. I love her so much it’s hard to explain how I feel.

I’m a Cindy Dake groupie.

Proof That We Are Not Alone in the World

Writing a book is a solitary – even isolating – experience. It requires that you spend vast amounts of time with your head in front of a computer screen. It requires many hours of pouring through printed pages, as you read them out loud to yourself to try to spot your errors. And then, once you’ve finished the book, you still have to go through rounds and rounds of editing, uploading, testing, fixing, uploading, downloading, printing, editing, fixing, uploading, and …

… praying.

All of which, you do alone.

It can feel overwhelming.

But I am so blessed.

I didn’t have to do this all by myself. When I asked you guys for help, you were there. You encouraged me. You asked me how it was going. You submitted your stories to me. You stepped up and helped me find errors in the manuscript and gave me fabulous suggestions.

You even helped me pick out the cover!

Do you know how cool that is? Do you know how cool you are?

This book – this very special book – is a group project. I’ve accomplished many things in my life, but this? It’s amazing. And a lot of the reasons I’m so happy about it include YOU!

You  - and God – helped me do it!

Your help is PROOF that we are not alone in the world. All we need to do is reach out and ask.

Something For You to Remember…

I’m having a free Kindle book download spree at Amazon in a couple of days. If you want to know more about that, make sure you are on the regular email list. I’m sending out an email alert as soon as it starts!

Of course, if you want to buy the book to support me, it would be amazing. (wink)

The message is of this book is so important to me that if I died tomorrow, I’d be okay with it. I have just written the book with the number one message that I want my children and grandchildren to know most …

… God loves them every day.

  1. Yay! I am so happy for you! I can’t wait to read it! It looks and sounds amazing! Amazon, here I come. ;)

  2. Love the cover that was chosen – Can’t wait to read this book – cover to cover. I always take something with me after reading your written word. You have the gift of writing. Congratulations on this newest release.

  3. Love reading your musings
    Looking forward to your book.

  4. Congrats, Ro! You did it!! I finished a 575 recipe cookbook last month, and went through the same steps that you went through. I never thought of asking for beta readers though–what a great idea! The cookbook was a 2 year project, and the printed version should be back from the publisher in the next 2 weeks. I don’t think I will really believe I finished it until I hold a physical copy in my hands ;-) I’m great at starting projects, but not so good at finishing them. Big Drops of Awesome for you and for me, because both of us finished a big project!!

    • Rozanne Paxman says:

Wow…575 pages is a lot, Peggy! What hard work. You’ll have to send me a photo of your book, or something. Is it going to be for sale somewhere?

  5. Congratulation on your new book, Ro. You are an amazing woman with so much to share. Thank you for letting us benefit from your knowledge and experience ?

  6. I was deeply touch by the book when I read the beta edition. Your conversation with our Heavenly Father is very moving, yet down-to-earth practical. I’m now reading the final version and hope to “take a page from your book” so to speak. If I can apply what you’ve experienced in your conversations with God, …

I’m very grateful that you were led to share this very personal conversation and that contributors opened their hearts to share their own. Thank you for lettiing me play a part as a beta reader.

  7. Oh Ro I’m so very happy that this is done, your message is out there! This is a wonderful day!

    Love and Hugs!

    • Rozanne Paxman says:

Yes, it is! I’ve been thinking about it so long that I’m having a hard time adjusting to the fact that it’s out there. :-)

  8. Congratulations! I feel honored to have been one of the beta readers. I look forward to reading the final version. Thank you for sharing your conversations with God. I hope many people read it. :)
